A Blast on the Bay!

It’s a blast on the Bay in a 70-foot speedboat that departs from the PIER 39 West Marina, home of Blue & Gold Fleet. 135 passengers will sail past the sea lions, zoom to the Bay Bridge, fly down to AT&T Park, scream past Treasure Island, and cruise by Alcatraz on the way back to PIER 39. This exciting ride pauses occasionally to allow passengers to catch their breath and capture unique sightseeing and photo opportunities unavailable on other tours. ANGEL ISLAND: A California State Park and Wildlife preserve, Angel Island is, perhaps one of the finest historical sites in the Bay Area and includes military garrisons and compounds from every major war dating back to the U.S. Civil War. Also known as the "Ellis Island of the West”, Angel Island's Immigration Station was the first stop for millions of Pacific Basin, Asian and Russian immigrants entering the United States. A day trip to Angel Island will provide a quick overview; however return visits are recommended to explore all that the island has to offer.

Parking is available at the PIER 39 Garage located directly across the Embarcadero from PIER 39 and Blue & Gold Fleet. For your convenience, ATMs, a souvenir/gift shop, bicycle rental, and snack bars are all available at Pier 39. Additionally, all ferry services have a snack bar.
For your comfort....
Please bring a light jacket or windbreaker when you visit. It can get windy out on the bay. Plan ahead for a more enjoyable visit. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also recommended. Arrive at gate 15 minutes prior to departure.
Bicycles Bicycles load first, leave last, unless otherwise instructed. On board, secure bike in rack provided. Bicycles allowed on
a first-come, first-served basis. Twenty five bicycles allowed — space permitting at the discretion of the Captain.Disabled All ferries are accessible on the first deck only for persons with disabilities.
From the South Bay: Take Highway 101 North to Highway 80 East. Exit at 4th Street. Stay left onto Bryant Street (get in right lane). Stay on Bryant Street to The Embarcadero. Turn left onto The Embarcadero (get into right lane). Straight to PIER 39 (2 1/2 miles).
From the North Bay Take Highway 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge Pass through the Toll Plaza and stay to your left. Take Lombard Street Exit (on right side) Follow Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue. Take a left onto Van Ness Avenue (stay right). Follow Van Ness Avenue to Bay Street (about three blocks). Turn right onto Bay Street and follow it until it runs into The Embarcadero. Turn left onto The Embarcadero. You will see PIER 39 on right side of the street.
From the East Bay Take Interstate 80 West across the Bay Bridge. Take Fremont Exit (on right side) Stay in far right lane. Turn left on Folsom Street. Follow Folsom to The Embarcadero. Turn left onto The Embarcadero. Straight to PIER 39 (aprox. 2 miles).
Parking Services The entrance to PIER 39 features a passenger and taxi loading zone. PIER 39 has convenient visitor parking in the PIER 39 Garage, located directly across the street from the Entrance Plaza.
The PIER 39 Garage is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Restaurant patrons who dine at one of PIER 39's full-service restaurants receive one hour free validated parking at lunch and two hours free validated parking after 6 pm for dinner.
The PIER 39 Garage clearance is 6 ft. 8 inches high.
The "F Market & Wharves" trolley runs along Market St. Downtown San Francisco, along The Embarcadero and stops directly in front of PIER 39. For more information regarding San Francisco Municipal System, please visit website www.sfmuni.com.
