There are two Chinatowns, one that you see from a van or bus, and the one that can only be experienced on foot in the back alleys, food markets, and local restaurants.

We go into and spend time with local artisans as they practice their crafts, whether it is calligraphers, bakers, or families who have been fishing for generations. This tour company is a group of passionate, professional, and certified guides who have been leading adventures in San Francisco for some time. We live here; we can't imagine living anywhere else. We love the City and want you to experience its magic. One of the company founders, Tom Medin, has been guiding tours in San Francisco for close to a decade. In addition to extensive knowledge of San Francisco history, architecture and cuisine, he is a trained naturalist, specializing in marine mammals. Several of his cookbooks are in the process of publication.

            

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received withing 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Recommended for all tours in San Francisco: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing.

Weather permitting.We reserve the right to offer suitable substitutions due to special event closings, unforeseen availability or circumstances beyond our control.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10.00 per person administration fee. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
